How does Alpidi handle production and fulfillment?

Alpidi is a platform for meeting shop owners with proper production partners. So Alpidi does not provide production and fulfillment services itself but ensures the quality in the process.

What are the costs associated with selling on Alpidi?

Alpidi is not a platform on which to sell products. Rather, Alpidi helps you to sell on marketplaces like Etsy, Shopify, and others by streamlining the production and fulfillment processes and reducing costs.

How can I manage inventory and track my orders on Alpidi?

You do not need to manage inventory on Alpidi; let’s leave it to Alpidi’s production partners and focus on selling them instead. You can assign an order to a production partner and then track it through the production and fulfillment process at every stage of it.

What support does Alpidi offer?

Alpidi provides support anytime you need it within the process over the Alpidi support module. Besides, we are happy to support you by email: support@alpidi.com

Can I integrate Alpidi with any e-commerce platforms?

Yes, eventually, you will be able to integrate your shops from any e-commerce platform. For now, you can integrate your Etsy and Shopify shops.

How does Alpidi ensure product quality?

Alpidi only partners with manufacturers that prove their production quality and capacity. Alpidi requires their legal documents, visits their manufacturing factory, and examines their product quality, production capacity, employee numbers, etc. to let them become production partners on Alpidi.

What happens if a shop owner sends a wrong, low-quality, or missing vector file to production?

This is your responsibility to make sure to attach the right vector file and make sure it is a good quality graphic file for their advertised item. If the Production partner does not like the quality of the vector file, they can request a new vector file but not mandatory.

How does Alpidi handle refunds and returns?

Alpidi has a streamlined refund and return process. You can ask for a partial or full amount refund or resend the order. Production partners get a notification in that case and they can accept, partially accept, or reject it. If you are not happy with the solution, you can open a case to the Alpidi Admin. Alpidi Admin examines all the processes of the order including the evidence provided by both parties and decides on how to proceed and resolve the conflict.

How does the payment process work?

Alpidi is free to use for you. You just add a balance via Stripe or Wise and use it to assign your orders to production partners. You can also automate it and Alpidi handles the rest.

Does Alpidi deduct any amount while shop owners charge their balance?

No, just keep in mind that credit cards (~%3) and ACH direct debit (~%1) money installment require their fees but money installment through Wise will be free.

For example: When you install $100 to Alpidi with a credit card, your available balance will be ~$97. When you install $100 to Alpidi with an ACH direct debit, your available balance will be ~$99. When you install $100 to Alpidi with an integration, your available balance will be $100.

How does Alpidi secure my vector files or designs?

Alpidi applies leading-edge security methods and technologies to secure your data. Besides, Alpidi policies ensure that production partners use your designs just for your production purposes and Alpidi will delete them after a month.

How can I manage inventory and track my orders?

You can add your inventory manually or import it with one click. Afterward, you can manage it in 4D with dynamic options including stocks, costs, and color images. Alpidi engine can match listing options with your inventory options automatically. Once an order is assigned to you, you have full control of the production and fulfillment process. You can easily proceed with orders, create shipping labels, and download vector files for manufacturing.

How do I become a production partner with Alpidi?

You can register via the Alpidi register page by filling out a form. Then, you will get an email with some directions and Alpidi will start your registration process.

Can everyone become a production partner on Alpidi?

Basically yes. Well, Alpidi will consider all applications. If you are eligible to become a production partner and Alpidi has enough production partners in your product type category then you will be placed on the waitlist. Based on current order numbers processing on Alpidi, we will call you and activate your account when needed.

Does the production partner need to work on customized vector files upon request?

No, but Alpidi is working on an additional account type called designers. So designer account holders can serve here upon request for any store or order.

This is the shop owner’s responsibility to make sure to attach the right vector file and ensure it is a good quality graphic file for their advertised item. If you do not like the quality of the vector file, you can request a new vector file but it is not mandatory.

What happens if a product gets lost in shipping?

We are working on shipping insurance. If a product is scanned by a carrier service provider and they lose your item, the insurance will cover your loss.

How does the payment process work?

Alpidi has no subscription fee for now. You just add a Wise or bank account and get your payouts periodically reduced by a fixed fee per received order and wire transfer fee.

Can I reject any order to produce?

No, you cannot reject an order assigned to you if your stock is available on Alpidi. You can put your account on vacation mode as necessary. If you feel the vector file is wrong or not of good quality, you can request a new vector file.

What happens if my inventory is out of stock?

You cannot get new orders regarding that item in your inventory until you update your stock quantities.

What happens if my production time is later than I promised?

Shop owners can see your performance scores. This might affect your reputation with them and result in receiving fewer orders on Alpidi. Additionally, if it continues to happen, Alpidi Admin can decide to suspend your account.

How can I improve my production partner badge level?

You can improve your badge level by increasing items produced and delivered on time and not getting refund/resend requests. Alpidi evaluates your last 3 months’ performance.

How does Alpidi measure my production performance?

Alpidi measures your performance by the metrics of business tenure, total items produced, on-time completion rate, average order fulfillment time, maximum production day per order, and number of types of items.

How does Alpidi inform new products to Shop owners?

Alpidi has a section on the home page to announce new products and once you add a new type of product it automatically appears there. In addition, Alpidi informs registered shop owners through periodical bulletins.

Does Alpidi offer affiliate marketing?

Yes. Alpidi offers referral codes for you to bring your customers and get a discount on the fixed fee.
